What’s the most recent Australian book that you read and loved?
The Waiting Room by Leah Kaminsky. Leah sent me a pre-publication proof for review. I get a lot of such requests, but give priority to local authors, particularly debut authors. It’s a finely written portrait of an Australian doctor working in Israel, dealing with the realities of the present and the ghosts of the past.
